Sketching a Stylish Young Man
Creating characters is one of the most rewarding Easy Drawings you can practice. Follow these steps to build your figure:
- The Foundation: Draw a light oval for the head and a slightly wider rectangle below it for the torso. Connect them with a small neck cylinder.
- Facial Features: Draw a horizontal line halfway down the oval for the eyes and a vertical line down the center. Add small shapes for ears at the eye line level.
- Hair and Details: Sketch a messy, layered shape on top of the head for hair. Add simple lines for the nose, mouth, and eyebrows to give him personality.
- Final Touches: Outline your pencil marks with a dark pen. You can even use this sketch as a template for your own custom coloring pages to practice shading.
Pro Tips:
- Keep your pencil strokes light so you can easily erase mistakes.
- Focus on proportions; the head should be about one-seventh of the total body height.
- Practice drawing different hairstyles to change the entire look of your character instantly!
